  • Car seat mounted on the front seat

  • Airbags do protect the driver and passengers in the front seat in the event of a collision. But Mother must understand, that this safety device actually endangers the safety of the Little One. In the event of an accident, the air bag will expand until it can hit the little head and cause serious or fatal injury. Therefore, do not place the baby car seat in the front seat. The safest, the baby should be placed in the middle rear seat. If installed on the side near a window or door, it is feared that it will result in serious injury to the baby during an impact.
  • Car seat strap is loose

  • Seat belts or straps should be attached tightly. The goal is to prevent the baby from moving forward. In the event of a collision, a loose car seat can cause the baby to hit the seat and dashboard of the car, resulting in serious facial or head injuries.
  • Add layers

  • Mother, adding layers to provide comfort for babies is not recommended. Pillows, blankets, and thick bolsters can make baby's seat straps not work properly. These additions can make the belt not tight, so that it actually endangers the baby.
  • Tie the rope too high

  • Tying a rope too high can cause a child to be thrown from a baby car seat during an accident. Tie a strap through the hole in the baby car seat located under or over the baby's shoulder.
  • Not checking the car seat properly

  • When buying a baby car seat, make sure you check the following:
  • Installation instructions.
  • Chair model.
  • Label or company logo that produces it.
  • Production date. Make sure the baby car seat is produced no more than six years ago.
  • Product credibility. Make sure that similar products never experience production defects.
  • Product completeness. Make sure no parts are missing.
  • Baby facing forward

  • Before the child is 2 years old, install the baby car seat facing the back of the car seat, not facing the front. In addition, lean the baby's head properly so as not to bend forward and obstruct the airway.
So that the mistakes above can be avoided, Mother and Father should follow the baby car seat installation instructions carefully. Also make sure you use a special baby seat model that is suitable for your child's age, weight and height.
